Auburn Police responded to the following calls for service between Oct. 12 and Oct. 8:
OCT. 12
Theft: 11:46 a.m., 2500 block of H Street Southeast. Persons unknown stole undefined tools worth an undisclosed amount from a vehicle belonging to a person claiming one or the other gender.
Vandalism: 12:22 p.m., 28900 block of 124th Avenue Southeast. Some yahoo climbed into his or her vehicle and tore up a large grassy area at Auburn Mountainview High School, damaging as they did so a handicap sign and eight trees. Police did not offer a damage estimate.
Vandalism: 8:08 p.m., 1101 Supermall Way S.W. Persons unknown smashed the windshield of a patrol vehicle while it was parked at the Auburn Supermall. Police did not offer a damage estimate.
Burglary: 8:35 p.m., 30000 block of 108th Avenue Southeast. Persons unknown broke into a home and stole jewelry and DVDs worth an undisclosed amount.
Burglary: 10:46 p.m., 2000 block of Hemlock Street Southeast. A female person of indefinite age reported that sometime between Friday afternoon and Sunday evening, someone took the television she was renting from Aarons Rent-a-Center.
OCT. 10
Theft: 5 p.m., 700 block of 37th Street Southeast. A female, no age given, reported that somebody stole her pain medication and a ring. Police did not offer a value for the missing items.
Wedding night arrest: 2:42 a.m., 800 block of H Street Southeast. Police arrested a man for obstruction and malicious mischief after he argued with his wife of 10 1/2 hours then broke out the windshield of their van.
OCT. 9
Vandalism: 6 a.m., 1800 block of C Place Southeast. Somebody broke out the driver’s side window of a vehicle of undisclosed make resulting in an undisclosed loss but took nothing.
Theft from vehicle: Overnight, 600 block of 29th Street Southeast. Somebody punched the slider door lock to a van of unknown make belonging to a person of undisclosed gender and took several undefined tools. Police did not disclose the value of the tools.
Theft: 10:37 a.m., 300 block of J Street Northeast. A woman called to report she suspects her boyfriend stole her jewelry and fled to New York.
Theft from motor vehicle: 10:53 a.m., 1800 block of F Street Southeast. Somebody entered an unlocked vehicle of undisclosed make through a door and stole a garage door opener.
Theft: 2:56 p.m., 400 block of 37th Street Southeast. Police contacted an angry woman carrying a rock in her hand as she was asserting her intention to kill someone. She said a juvenile stole her cigarettes and $100 cash.
Theft: Noon, 2200 block of E Street Northeast. A man told police that somebody broke into his airplane and stole $50,000 worth of radio equipment.
Shoplifting: 6:15 p.m., 1101 Supermall Way S.W. Police arrested a boy for shoplifting something. Police declined to disclose what that item was or how much its loss would have set the unnamed store back.
Theft: 7 a.m , 1100 block of 32nd Street Northeast. A resident reported the theft of a laptop computer from his or her car. No value was given. The victim suspects someone from the neighborhood.
Oct. 8
Assault: 12:45 a.m., 500 block of 12th Street Southeast. Police arrested a woman for assaulting her brother. Both live with their mother and she got a front row seat to the assault.
