April 20

Vandalism: 12:20 p.m., 2400 block of 17th Drive Southeast. A female reported that someone had broken the rear window of her van. Police did not give a damage estimate.

Vandalism: 1:19 p.m., 2400 block of R Street Southeast. Unknown subjects punctured the tires on three vehicles of unknown make belonging, we may assume, to persons of one gender or the other, though police didn’t say.

Shoplifting: 2:40 p.m., 1101 Supermall Way S.W.

Police arrested a male person for shoplifting after he tried to swipe a shirt from Burlington Coat Factory. No value was given.

April 19

Recovered and stolen vehicle: 8:30 a.m., 32800 block of 56th Avenue South. A woman reported finding

a stolen dark blue Honda Accord parked on the street in front of her house.

Theft from vehicle:

10:34 a.m., 4100 block of C Street Northeast. Somebody stole a battery cover from a vehicle of undefined make belonging to a person of unspecified gender.

Drugs: 10:40 a.m., 4500 block of Auburn Way North. Police arrested a person for driving while his license was suspended, and for possessing pot and the equipment needed to smoke said leafy substance, all of this during a traffic stop.

Vandalism: 3 p.m., 3700 block of Auburn Way South. A male person said unknown juvenile persons pitched a rock through his window. No damage estimate was given.

April 18

Possession of pot:

11:32 a.m., 1825 K St. S.E. A small amount of pot turned over to the principal of Olympic Middle School was then turned over to Auburn police for destruction.

Burglary: Overnight, 2100 block of H Street Southeast. Unknown suspects tried to enter a residence after removing hinge pins from a porch door. That person also left pry marks on the front door and door frame.

Robbery with firearm: 9:57 p.m., 4400 block of A Street Southeast. Two guys wearing ski masks and wielding a pistol armed the South Auburn Papa Murphy’s of an undisclosed amount of money. A K-9 track sniffed out some possible suspects. Police recovered the ski masks, pistol and gloves.
