July 21

Vandalism: 12:55 a.m., 101 Auburn Way S. Police arrested a man for felony vandalism after he used a hammer to smash every window, tail lamp, and head lamp on a vehicle. The owner of the vehicle had previously pepper sprayed the man while defending himself from an attempted assault.

July 20

Disorderly conduct:

10:51 a.m., 2300 block

of Dogwood Street Southeast.

A male transient was blocking a public sidewalk, did not comply when police asked him to move and got himself cited for disorderly conduct.

Luring/possible attempt kidnap: 2:20 p.m., 29600 block of 124th Place Southeast. An unknown man lured a young girl from his dark blue sedan style car. The girl got scared and ran home to her mother who called 911 to report the incident. The suspect was never identified and remains at large.

Hit and run: 8:18 p.m.,

800 block of 28th Street Northeast. Two juveniles without driver’s licenses asked to borrow their neighbor’s SUV to get Slurpees.

On the way back, the driver lost control of the SUV and struck a parked vehicle in Doxon Toyota’s used car lot. The nervous teens then fled from the scene.

July 19

Vandalism: 9:24 a.m.,

600 block of 21st Street Southeast. Somebody vandalized some person’s fence in an unknown way, presumably vexing said person.

Shoplifting: 1:35 p.m., 1101 Supermall Way S.W. Police arrested a teenage girl for shoplifting an undisclosed item of undisclosed value from Casual Line at the Supermall.

Theft from building:

11 a.m., 600 block of 8th Street Southeast. A man reported that someone snuck into his rental unit while he was working and took his wallet.

Theft from building: Noon, 1101 Supermall Way S.W. A woman reported that somebody took her cell phone while she was in Sam’s Club at the Supermall.

July 18

Disorderly conduct:

1:17 a.m., 4000 block of A Street Southeast. Police arrested a male for conducting himself in an undisclosed manner that was, nevertheless, deemed disorderly.

July 17

Burglary: Overnight, 32000 block of 109th Place Southeast. An unknown person got into a secure parking garage, damaged a couple cars and stole several items.

Theft: 9:39 a.m , 700 block of 10th Street Northeast. A stolen silver 160 GB Apple iPod was recovered off a man at the Red Lotus.

Theft: 12:51 p.m., 1300 block of 3rd Street Southeast. Somebody stole a leaf blower.

Vandalism: 1:03 p.m., 12700 block of Southeast 312th Street. Unknown subjects broke the hood emblem from a victim’s 1988 Jaguar SJ.

Theft car parts: Overnight, 12700 block of Southeast 312th Street. Two Mercedes Benz hood ornaments were stolen on the same street as the aforementioned hood emblems.

Shoplifting: 3:45 p.m.,

3900 block of A Street Southeast. A female was caught stealing cough medicine from the south end Bartell’s.

July 15

Vandalism: Overnight, 2000 block of Mountain View Drive. Mountain View Cemetery reported that somebody had cut two locks from their gas tank.
