Auburn police responded to the following calls for service between Sept. 21 and Sept. 18:
SEPT. 21
Rowdy nuptials: 11:10 p.m., 5700 block of 37th Street Southeast. An excited male fired several shots into the air after a fight at a wedding reception.
Assault: 2:39 a.m., 12200 block of Southeast 310th Street. Somebody of undefined gender damaged an apartment door by kicking said door, then went on to wreak other havoc, assaulting someone of equally undefined gender with a beer can over an alleged drug debt.
SEPT. 20
Scram, rude dude: 12:49 a.m., 2402 Auburn Way S. A man got himself ejected from the Muckleshoot casino for rude behavior. The ill-mannered fellow refused to leave when security and police asked him to do so, so police arrested him for criminal trespassing.
SEPT. 19
Assault with a knife:
10:05 a.m., 800 block of 4th Street Northeast. Police arrested a kid for assaulting another kid at Auburn High School with a knife.
Robbing the blind: 12:28 p.m., 200 block of North Division Street. Somebody stole a blind woman’s purse while she was at Auburn Regional Medical Center. Police did not disclose what the woman lost.
Drunk out of her skull: 5:45 p.m., 31000 block of 104th Avenue Southeast. Police arrested a woman for driving under the influence, reckless driving and driving while her license was suspended. The woman had nearly caused several accidents and backed into a patrol vehicle as she stopped. No mystery here: her blood alcohol was recorded at .266, more than three times the legal limit.
SEPT. 18
Sex offense: 8:30 a.m., 201 N. Division Street. A man made several sexual comments toward a female, and touched her in a way he shouldn’t have. The woman chose not to pursue criminal charges.
Assault: 12:15 p.m., 110 2nd Street Southwest. In the blaze of midday, two West Auburn High School students landed blows upon each other of a hostile nature, earning themselves a suspension from school.
A shoplifter and his shades: 7:06 p.m., 1221 Auburn Way N. An employee of The Fashion Bug saw a boy pocket some sunglasses, but the kid left the store before employees could do anything about said theft.
Assault: 9:25 p.m.,
2402 Auburn Way S. Police arrested a man at the Muckleshoot Casino after he assaulted a woman by pulling on the front of her shirt and bra.
Assault: 6:17 p.m., 2300 block of N Street Northeast. A fight in the street resulted in the arrest of two female persons. Their intended victim, likewise a female person, and witnesses reported the assailants had been swinging a hammer, trying to strike the female person and harm her.
