Auburn police responded to the following calls for service, among many others, between Dec. 22 and Dec. 28:
Dec. 22
Theft: 9:45 a.m., 229 block of D Street Northwest. Subjects unknown tried to steal a generator from somewhere. Police did not disclose a value.
Disorderly conduct: 3:15 p.m., 1300 block of 15th Street Southwest. Police arrested a transient for aggressive begging.
Shoplifting: 4:12 p.m., 101 Auburn Way S. Police arrested a man for shoplifting $9.96 worth of undisclosed items from Safeway. The man also had a warrant for his arrest issued by the Auburn Court for shoplifting. Police booked him into the Auburn Jail.
Theft: 7 p.m., 2402 Auburn Way S. Somebody stole a car stereo from an F-250 Ford pickup while it was parked in the parking lot of the Muckleshoot Casino. Police did not disclose a value for the missing stereo.
Shoplifting: 7:20 p.m., 1101 Supermall Way SW. A male, age not disclosed, shoplifted undisclosed items from three undisclosed stores in the SuperMall. Said male tried to run but police caught up with him and arrested him for shoplifting said undisclosed items from said unknown stores.
Dec. 24
Theft: 2 p.m., 500 block of 17th Street Southeast. Somebody stole an amplifier from somewhere belonging to somebody. Police did not disclose a value.
Dec. 27
Theft from vehicle: 12:10 p.m., 400 block of 8th Street Southwest. Somebody stole an undisclosed number of suitcases from a vehicle. Police did not disclose a value for the purloined suitcases.
Theft from motor vehicle: 10:44 a.m., 600 block of 8th Street Northeast. Persons unknown vandalized three vehicles in unknown ways, resulting in undisclosed damages.
Robbery with a knife: 6:14 p.m., 1111 17th Street Southeast. Two males with a large knife robbed an employee at a coffee stand of undisclosed valuables.
Theft: 9:08 p.m., 600 block of 37th Street Southeast. Somebody swiped a television and a mattress from an apartment. Police did not disclose a value.
Dec. 28
Business burglary: 2:24 a.m., 400 block of 15th Street Southwest. According to Auburn police, a “burglary reported.”
