The Himawari Japanese Preschool is hosting a charity bazaar from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. April 16 to support earthquake-ravished Japan.

The benefit, which will feature a garage sale, bake sale and snacks and craft sale, is located at Saltwater Unitarian Universalist Church, 25701 14th Place S., Des Moines.

The garage sale will include household goods, clothing, children’s items, toys, books, electronics and other items.

Proceeds will be donated to Save The Children for its Japan Earthquake Relief efforts.
