The Rotary Club of Auburn held its memorial Sauce Shimojima Fishing Derby on Monday at Bill’s Fishin’ Hole in Orting.
The event, a joint venture between the Club and the Auburn Parks Arts & Recreation Department, provided disabled individuals the experience of catching a fish.
Participants enjoyed a meal with their catch, corn on the cob, watermelon and soda.
