It’s a gesture of appreciation for all the difficult duty they do.

Miss Auburn’s Morgan Warren and Miss Auburn’s Outstanding Teen Keely Franchini and their families took time to deliver treat-filled bags to Auburn Police officers last Friday.

The gifts came courtesy of the queens’ families.

The group toured the police station, distributed bags and thanked officers personally.

Each treat in the police appreciation kit represented something, like Tootsie Rolls — to help you roll with the punches — and Lifesaver — to remind you of the many times you’ve been one.
