King County Prosecutor Dan Satterberg headlines a conversation about addiction and recovery at a South County town hall meeting June 9 at Jefferson High School, 4248 S. 288th St., Auburn.
The gathering is from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
Joining Satterberg and the host, King County Councilmember Pete von Reichbauer, will be King County Chief Deputy Sheriff Jim Pugel; Harborview Chief Nursing Officer Darcy Jaffe; and Brad Finegood, assistant director of King County’s Behavioral Health and Recovery Division.
Panelists will address the needs of people working through the complexities of addiction and recovery in their communities. Satterberg, Pugel, Jaffe and Finegood are members of King County’s Task Force on Heroin and Prescription Opiate Addiction.
“Every day, South King County is faced with the growing crisis of addiction,” von Reichbauer said. “This town hall is an opportunity to come together as a community to confront the problems of addiction and discuss solutions for recovery.”
