• Education: A.A. in general studies from Green River Community College, 1985; B.A. Parks and Recreation, Western Washington University 1988; Leadership Institute of South Puget Sound.

• Background: Auburn School District School Board director; Auburn School District 2004-05 Citizen’s Ad Hoc Committee, co-chair, childhood fitness and nutrition subcommittee and the 2008 Facilities Master Plan Steering Committee; Read Across America class room and field trip volunteer; National Recreation and Park Association, volunteer; Washington Recreation and Park Association, American Cancer Society, Relay for Life participant; Auburn Food Bank, Harvest Breakfast table captain, food drive coordinator; Auburn School District, School Board Director.

• What qualifies you to serve? Through a competitive interview process, I was appointed to the School Board. My husband and I have a sixth-grade daughter and third-grade son and have always had a passion for education. I have an interest in continuing to act as a liaison between citizens and the district.
