Anglers flocked to Mill Pond to participate in the recent Auburn Parks, Arts & Recreation Department’s Senior Fishing Weekend.

The Green River Steelhead Trout Club and Auburn Sports and Marine stocked the pond.

The weekend event included a fishing derby won by Bob Lindley.

Tackle, bait and rods were provided for those who needed them.

During the derby, free hot dogs were served up, sponsored by Canterbury House and Auburn Senior Wellness Team.
