Doxon Toyota of Auburn is the official auto dealer of the Seattle Thunderbirds and ShoWare Center, it was announced Friday.

As part of the five-year partnership between the WHL team, the center and auto dealership, suite and club seat holders can park in the west-side Doxon Toyota VIP parking area for all ShoWare events.

“We are excited and proud to be teamed up with the ShoWare Center and Thunderbirds as their exclusive auto dealership,” said Mark Doxon, owner of Doxon Toyota. “We are looking forward to the season, our new relationship and building our Doxon Toyota brand with all of the loyal Thunderbirds fans.”

“We are excited to have a great, local auto dealership partner with the ShoWare Center and T-Birds. We are looking forward to them joining the ShoWare Center family,” said Tim Higgins, general manager of ShoWare Center.

Fans will see Doxon Toyota automobiles up close on the ShoWare plaza throughout the coming season. The T-Birds’ popular second intermission Chuck-A-Puck Promotion will feature new Doxon Toyota automobiles throughout the season.

The T-Birds’ home opener is Saturday, Oct. 1 against the Portland Winterhawks. Face-off is 7:05 p.m.

Fans can purchase single-game tickets online or at the ShoWare Center box office.
