Special visit: Midshipman and Congressman

Midshipman Shaun Meehan from the United States Merchant Marine Academy in Kingsport, N.Y., recently visited Congressman Dave Reichert (R-8th District) at his office in Issaquah.

Meehan, son of Kevin and Marsha Meehan of Auburn, received a congressional nomination from Reichert to attend the academy. Meehan, who begins his second year at the academy as a 3rd classman, is majoring in systems engineering.
