Two girls enjoyed swinging in the sun at Les Gove Park on a pleasant Monday, as Auburn and the Green River Valley opened to bright skies and record-breaking warmth this week. Auburn officially hit 79 degrees Tuesday, the day before the official start of spring.

The forecast calls for mild days for the rest of the week with a return of showers by the weekend.
