Gene Cerino is the right candidate for Position 2 on the Auburn City Council.

Gene has the experience to represent the city on all the regional committees that are so essential today. We cannot afford the apprenticeship that John Partridge would have to go through because he did not do any of the preparation needed, such as serve on the planning commission or any of the many boards that beg for citizen volunteers. It is while serving on these boards that a member learns all the rules and regulations that a city is bound by.

Also, John is a Federal Way business owner who is still busy earning a living for his family, and many of the necessary meetings that a council person needs to be available to attend are at odd morning and afternoon times.

This is not the time to bring the new guy into the picture. Let him get the experience in the process and then run for office.
