The Washington State Transportation Commission is releasing a statewide survey this week to find out what Washington state residents’ priorities are for future transportation investments and how they think those investments should be paid for.

The survey will be conducted online through the commission’s Voice of Washington State (VOWS) survey program.

The program is part of an ongoing effort to bring the views and preferences of Washingtonians directly to the Governor and the State Legislature who face tough decisions on how growing transportation needs can be addressed in an environment of insufficient funding.

The VOWS survey program currently has more than 30,000 residents participating from across the state. The survey will be available for about two weeks, so time is limited to sign up and share your views. The survey seeks input on all things transportation: highways, mass transit, freight and high-speed rail, ferries, bikes, pedestrians, aviation and more. It also asks for input on what the investment priorities should be and how we should pay for them.
