Painting with the Stars shone Feb. 26 at a Green River College Foundation benefit for the Interurban Center for the Arts (ICA).

Local artists gave demonstrations at the college’s Lindbloom Student Center. A silent auction featured artwork designed and created by local community stars and artists. There also were interactive art displays, student art, and an opportunity to use the paintbrush.

Proceeds supported local elementary schools by providing training and educational materials to volunteer art docent programs.
