Auburn police and other officers joined forces in the Law Enforcement Torch Run Campaign for Special Olympics as the relay passed through city streets last Friday.

Auburn Commander Mike Hirman escorted the torch from the Idaho state line and continued with it to its destination at McChord Air Force Base in Lakewood, where the Special Olympics’ opening ceremonies were held Friday. The games were held at Fort Lewis last Saturday and Sunday.
