Beginning Monday, April 10, construction work will begin on the Auburn Way North Preservation project that will replace the roadway surface on Auburn Way North from 22nd Street NE to 45th Street NE.

The project will also upgrade curb ramps and traffic signals to improve accessibility.

The project is partially grant funded and is part of the City’s arterial street preservation program. From April 10, through Friday, April 14, construction activities will include lowering existing utilities, saw cutting pavement, and installing temporary traffic signal cameras. Thework will require temporary lane restrictions. Additional notices will be provided as work progresses.

Access to residences and businesses within the project area will be maintained during construction. Delays should be expected, please plan accordingly. Please use caution and pay close attention to flaggers and construction sign directions.
