On Thursday night, May 31, through Friday morning June 1, construction by WSDOT contractor Tucci and Sons for the Auburn Way South (SR 18 to 17th Street SE) paving project will require lane closures and disruptions at the intersection of Auburn Way South and the westbound State Route 18 on-ramp and off-ramp, from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.

The work is not dependent on weather.

Access to residences and businesses within the project area will be maintained during construction, but delays should be expected. Please pay close attention to police officers, signs and flaggers.

On Thursday, construction by Miles Resources for the Auburn Way South safety improvements project will a require a traffic signal system shutdown at the intersection of Auburn Way South and Riverwalk Drive SE from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

During construction, the traffic signal will be turned off and police officers will be directing traffic through the intersection. Please use caution and pay close attention to police officers, flaggers, and construction sign directions. This work is not dependent on weather.
