Two Auburn High School students arrested for assault

A verbal dispute that began Thursday at Auburn High School carried over Friday with a physical assault of an Auburn High School administrator, Auburn Police reported.

When a student tried preventing the assault, he too was assaulted, police said.

As it stands, the aggressors are two siblings, a male and a female. Officers responded and then called for additional backup. Several officers responded to the high school. The male was arrested for assaulting the school administrator as well as for striking an officer in the face. His sister was arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. Both were taken to King County Juvenile Detention.

The school administrator was taken to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center, where she was treated for her injuries and released on Friday.

The Auburn School District will also be taking administrative action.
