Southeast 304th on both sides of 124th Avenue Southeast on Lea Hill in Auburn will be closed at 7 a.m. Wednesday, July 16, through the end of August, while the King County Road Services Division constructs a roundabout at the intersection.

The county is building the roundabout to ease the flow of increased traffic traveling to and from Auburn Mountainview High School, other local schools, and new development in the area.

The county has scheduled work from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily. Once that project is completed, the county is planning on partial closures in the area in order to complete additional work.

Local detours will be posted near the intersection, and motorists are urged to drive through the construction area with care.
