The Auburn Sculpture Gallery features seven artists whose artworks grace the sidewalks throughout Main Street, connecting citizens and visitors to the works of regional artists.

Viewers can vote for their favorite sculpture by June 30 and be a part of the decision of which artwork may be purchased and stay in Auburn.

The gallery is composed of a glorious, gleaming Silverware Ostrich, reclaimed Hook Nose Salmon made of “rusty gold,” masterfully carved Dancing Starfish, beautiful mosaic Fertility, vivacious Joli 3, a stainless – steel spiraling Timeline Theory Reflections, as well as modern, thought provoking Anemone.

Participating artists include Greg Bartol and Jill Drillevich, Ken Turner, Steve Farris, Stephen Nomura, Dan Klennert, Jennifer Khuns and Steve Jensen,

The City is able to showcase artistic talent coupled with tourism guides and art-walk events that bring attention and visitors to Auburn’s historic downtown and celebrate the arts.

The artists are able to have their artwork in the public sphere for collectors and potential purchase, while the citizens can enjoy and vote on their “People’s Choice” for the City to potentially purchase to become part of the permanent Public Art collection.

The one-year loan period also allows for an annual rotation of new sculptures, creating a dynamic and changing downtown public art collection
