Valley Regional Fire Authority crews worked to contain and extinguish a brush fire in Auburn on Tuesday afternoon.

VRFA units were able to protect several homes along Forrest Ridge Drive Southeast and maintained control of a brush fire.

Initial crews aggressively attacked the quick-moving flames and cut off the head of the fire.
