Local firefighters put out a vehicle fire in the 4400 block of B Street Northwest in Auburn on Monday evening.
Two Valley Regional Fire Authority fire engines, a battalion chief and an engine from the Kent Regional Fire Authority responded to the fire around 6:45 p.m.
Multiple callers to 911 reported a large fire involving a semi-truck that was rapidly spreading to other trucks parked close by at a trucking company in north Auburn.
VRFA units responding reported a large thermal column from several blocks away and arrived to find three semi-trucks fully involved. Crews quickly established multiple water supplies and used deck guns to knock the fire down. After several minutes firefighters were able to bring the fire under control.
All three trucks were completely destroyed in the blaze.
The fire is under investigation.
There were no injuries to civilians or firefighters.
