Between April 9 and 15th, the Valley Regional Fire Authority responded to 248 calls for service, among them the following:

April 9

Aid call: 2:01 p.m., (Pacific). Firefighters responded to a senior citizen who was probably coming down with pneumonia and so was struggling to breathe, and a private ambulance transported him to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center (MAMC).

April 10

Aid call: 3:13 p.m., (Auburn). Firefighters evaluated a senior citizen who had briefly lost consciousness, and a private ambulance transported her to MAMC.

April 11

Accident: 1:06 p.m., (Lea Hill). Firefighters responding to a two-car accident treated a woman for neck pain, and a private ambulance transported her to Good Samaritan hospital.

April 13

Aid call: 1 a.m., (Lakeland Hills). Firefighters responded to a man who was complaining of abdominal pain, and a private ambulance transported him to MAMC.

Car fire: 7:30 p.m., (Auburn). Firefighters responding to a reported car fire on the West Hill of Auburn found a passenger vehicle engulfed in flames, which they extinguished.

April 14

Aid call: 8:48 a.m. Firefighters stabilized and King County Medics evaluated a middle-aged man who was struggling to catch his breath, and a private ambulance transported him to MAMC.

April 15

Aid call: 4:52 p.m., (Algona). Firefighters evaluated a middle-aged woman who had fainted during a painting class, and released her to family for possible follow up.
