Aug. 19

Aid call: 2:45 p.m., (Lakeland Hills). Firefighters evaluated a woman who’d been complaining of back pain, and a private car drove her to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center (MAMC) for more care.

Aug. 20

Aid call: 1:30 p.m., (Auburn). Firefighters responding to an Auburn senior citizen who’d been complaining of weakness found him to be a dehydrated man. After firefighters treated the man, a private ambulance motored him to Valley Medical Center for more treatment.

Aug. 21

Aid call: 9:02 a.m., (Algona). Firefighters evaluated a man in the throes of chest pain before a private ambulance transported him in stable condition to a local hospital.

Aug. 22

Patient assist: 7:29 p.m., (Lea Hill). Firefighters helped an ill woman who had fallen and left her in her husband’s care.

Aug. 23

Aid call: 12:42 p.m., (Auburn). Firefighters responding to a woman who’d been having a rough time catching her breath determined quickly that, while the sufferer had a history of respiratory disease, that day’s episode was worse than normal. Firefighters treated the woman on scene, and a private ambulance drove her to a local hospital for more treatment.

Accident: 3:51 p.m., (Auburn). Firefighters sent to a two-car accident at the 1400 block of 8th St. NE. found one person on scene complaining of shortness of breath and of neck pain. Firefighters treated the person and transported him or her to MAMC.

Aug. 25

Bike accident: 1:53 p.m., (Pacific). Firefighters responding to a bicycle accident found a man who had fallen from his bike and suffered what appeared to be minor injuries. Firefighters treated the man and drove him to MAMC.
