July 25

Aid call: 11:16 a.m., (Lakeland Hills). Firefighters evaluated a teenage girl who had fallen and was complaining of back pain, and then left her in her father’s care.

July 26

Aid call: 7:15 a.m., (Auburn). Firefighters treated a man who had injured his shoulder in a fall, and a private ambulance transported him to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center (MAMC).

July 27

Illegal burn: 9:36 p.m., (South Auburn). Firefighters who’d been called to investigate an illegal burn found a resident burning wood and cardboard in a burn barrel. Firefighters schooled the resident on burning regulations and directed him to extinguish the fire.

Aid call: 12:45 p.m. (Pacific). Firefighters helped a man who was struggling to catch his breath, and a private ambulance transported him to MAMC for further treatment.

July 29

Aid call: 12:51 p.m., (Algona). Firefighters assessed and treated the injuries of an elderly man who’d been struck by a vehicle while he was backing up to the transfer station.

Aid call: 7:03 a.m., (Auburn). Firefighters treated a jockey who’d sustained a possible leg fracture when he was thrown from his horse at Emerald Downs race track, and a VRFA Aid Unit transported him to a local hospital.

Aid call: 1:29 p.m., (Lea Hill). Firefighters treated an Auburn senior citizen who was complaining of a decreased level of consciousness, and a private ambulance transported him to MAMC.
