Feb. 1

Aid call: 12:35 p.m., (Auburn). Firefighters helped an older woman who was complaining of chest pain, and medics whisked her off to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center for treatment.

Feb. 2

Aid call: 9:45 a.m., (Lakeland Hills). Firefighters responded to an older woman with a sudden onset of upper abdominal pain and nausea, and a private ambulance transported her to MAMC.

Feb. 3

Aid call: 12:12 p.m., (Pacific). Firefighters evaluated an older woman showing signs of hypotension, and a private ambulance transported her to MAMC.

Feb. 4

Fire alarm: 5:28 p.m., (Lea Hill). Firefighters responded to a home fire alarm that was squawking and keening about burnt foodstuffs on the stove.

Feb. 5

Aid call: 10:52 p.m., (Auburn). Firefighters evaluated a young woman who was complaining of pregnancy complications, and a private ambulance transported her to MAMC.

Feb. 6

Accident: 1:51 p.m., (South Auburn). Firefighters treated a young man who had sustained a severe head laceration in a one-vehicle accident. The man told firefighters he had been reaching for an object on the floorboard when his truck left the road and hit a tree. A VRFA aid car transported him to MAMC.

Feb. 7

Water flow alarm: 12:26 p.m., (Auburn). Firefighters responded to an apartment building with uncontrolled water flow coming from a damaged sprinkler head. Firefighters turned off the water then pitched in to help with salvage operations.
