March 12

Firefighters helping cops: 3:05 p.m., (Auburn). Firefighters stood by for Auburn police and the Federal Way Bomb Unit during the safe removal of explosives found in a shed behind residence.

March 13

Accident: 2:21 p.m., (Algona). Firefighters hustling to a two-car, motor vehicle accident with injuries treated two people then transport – one to Auburn Regional Medical Center. A private ambulance took the other.

Aid call: 1:20 p.m., (Pacific). Firefighters helped an older woman who was suffering from severe abdominal pain. After firefighters evaluated the woman, a private ambulance transported her to ARMC in stable condition.

Garage fire: 2:20 a.m., (Auburn). Firefighters responding to a garage fire found smoke and flames belching from a detached garage behind a residence The fire got no farther than the garage before firefighters snuffed it. Nobody was hurt. The fire was accidental.

Aid call: 4:49 p.m., (Pacific). Firefighters responding to an elderly woman complaining of shortness of breath treated her before a private ambulance transported her to ARMC.

Aid call: 12:15 a.m., (Lakeland Hills). Valley Com dispatched firefighters and Auburn police to a welfare check on an older woman. Firefighters examined the woman and determined that further medical evaluation and treatment would be necessary. A private ambulance transported the woman to an area hospital in stable condition.

March 18

Aid Call: 4:19 p.m., (Lea Hill). Firefighters and King County Medics helped an older man with chest pressure before a private ambulance transported him to an area hospital.
