May 6

Aid call: 1:09 p.m., (Auburn). Firefighters treated an Auburn senior for shortness of breath, and a private ambulance transported him to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center (MAMC).

May 7

Aid call: 4:40 p.m., (Lakeland Hills). Firefighters evaluated a man who complained he was on the verge of fainting and left him in the care of his roommate.

Technical rescue: 3:14 p.m., (Auburn). The VRFA Technical Rescue Team set up a main and belay line then used a basket operation to rescue an older man who had tumbled some 40 feet down a steep embankment behind his home. The man suffered only minor injuries, and firefighters left him at the scene.

Aid call: 9:40 a.m., (Lea Hill). Firefighters treated a woman who’d been complaining of dizziness and a private ambulance transported her to Valley Medical Center for further evaluation.

Aid call: 9:25 a.m., (Pacific). Firefighters evaluated a woman who had fainted, and a private ambulance transported her to MAMC.

Aid call: 7:15 p.m., (Lea Hill). Firefighters evaluated a child with an arm injury, and a private ambulance transported the child to MAMC.

Accident: 12:54 p.m., (Auburn). Firefighters responding to a two-vehicle accident got the lone trapped person out of one of the cars, and King County Medics transported him or her to Harborview Medical Center.
