Oct. 3

Aid call: 11:11 a.m. (Lakeland Hills). Firefighters and King County Medics responded to an adult male with chest pain. King County Medics treated the patient and then transported him to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center (MAMC).

Oct. 4

Aid call: 5:21 p.m. (Algona). Firefighters responded to a young adult female concerned about her pregnancy. The family transported the patient for a followup with her doctor.

Aid call: 3:53 p.m. (Pacific). Firefighters responded to an elderly woman complaining of abdominal pain. Firefighters treated the patient and a private ambulance transported her to MAMC.

Oct. 6

Aid call: 12:35 p.m. (Auburn). Firefighters helped a middle-aged male who was dizzy with low-blood pressure. After being assessed, the patient was transported to a local hospital by private ambulance.

Oct. 7

Aid call: 9:04 a.m. (Lea Hill). Firefighters responded to a young woman who was suffering from hypothermia. The patient was homeless and had been outside through the night. Firefighters treated the patient and a private ambulance transported her to MAMC.

Car vs. pedestrian: 12:22 p.m. (Auburn). VRFA firefighters and King County Medics responded to a car-versus-pedestrian accident. Firefighters found a young man who had been hit while walking in front of the store and crushed between the building and the vehicle. The patient had serious lower limb injuries. He was treated and stabilized at the scene prior to being transported by King County Medics to Harborview Medical Center.

Aid call: 6:34 p.m. (Auburn). Firefighters helped a man complaining of anxiety and a rapid heart rate. They assessed the patient then transported him to MAMC for further treatment.
