Sept. 15

Aid call: 7:47 a.m., (Lea Hill). After firefighters treated a man who’d been suffering stomach pains and determined that he was in stable condition, he refused further medical care and they left him at home at his request.

Sept. 16

Aid call: 9:10 a.m., (Pacific). After firefighters had used oxygen therapy to treat an older woman who was struggling to breathe, a private ambulance motored her to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center (MAMC).

Sept. 17

Aid call: 12:57 p.m., (South Auburn). Firefighters treated a woman’s injured ankle with ice and a wrap before a private ambulance transported her to MAMC for further evaluation.

Sept. 18

Fuel spill: 3:45 p.m., (Auburn). Firefighters responding to a gasoline spill at a 7-Eleven in the 4000 block of A Street Southeast found a car that had overflowed during fueling. Firefighters cleaned up the spill with equipment they carried on the fire engine and washed off the driver’s car with a hose from the same fire engine.

Power line down: 12:15 p.m., (Lea Hill). After firefighters responding to a report of power lines down across Lea Hill Road arrived and confirmed that a power line was indeed down across the road, they decided that traffic had to be shut down, so Auburn Police diverted traffic until PSE could restore the line to its normal position.

Sept. 20

Aid call: 9:10 p.m., (Lakeland Hills). A young woman complaining of a severe headache and a rapid heart rate got help from firefighters and a ride to MAMC in a private ambulance.

Sept. 21

Aid call: 5:18 p.m., (Auburn). After firefighters and King County Medics treated a young man who was unconscious and barely breathing, Medics transported him to MAMC.
