Valley Regional Firefighters recently volunteered their time to pick up trash along Highway 18.

The firefighters’ union, IAFF Local 1352, adopted the highway from Auburn Way South to the Auburn-Black Diamond Road.

Off-duty firefighters spend a few hours every couple of months picking up litter along the shoulder of the highway.
