Firefighters from the Valley Regional Fire Authority rescued a man who had fallen down a low angle embankment early Friday morning.

Units responded at 6:18 a.m. to a reported unconscious man down an embankment at 12401 SE 320th St., by Green River Community College. Arriving units found a man in his early 20s in the embankment.

The patient was treated on scene for facial injuries before being transported to Auburn Regional Medical Center for further evaluation.

There were no injuries to firefighters.
