Steve Suiter was recently installed as the new pastor at West Valley Community Church.

The Oct. 18 service included special guests from the Advent Christian denomination. Dr. Rick Erickson, president at Fuller Theological Seminary Seattle Extension, gave a message, “Called to Rule the World.”

Suiter and his wife, Michele, have two children, Emma and Nathan.

The church, at 3212 S. 288th St., has undergone a major makeover and has a new, attractive appearance.

Services are 11 a.m. Sundays. The public is welcome.

The church has an active youth program led by youth pastor Brandon Tonseth.

West Valley is a multigenerational church with a variety of activities for all ages.
