West Valley Highway from State Route 18 to West Main Street will close between Monday, Aug. 29 and approximately Friday, Oct. 21 to allow for the West Valley Highway Improvements project.

Plans call for the re-construction of the highway from West Main Street to SR18. Among the improvements will be bicycle lanes, sidewalk, lighting, improved drainage, a center median and extended turn lanes. The intersection of West Main Street and West Valley Highway will be fitted with a new signal system.

West Main, C Street Southwest and 15th Street Southwest will be the signed detour routes.
