City Councilman John Holman will speak on Compassion, Community and Courage on Sunday, part of the White River Buddhist Temple Monthly Speakers’ Series.

The program begins at 10:30 a.m. at the temple, 3625 Auburn Way N.

Holman will discussing the three C’s, the courage to act and the dangers of fear.

The Rev. Koshin Ogui leads a short meditation ceremony.
