Woman arrested for domestic violence assault | Auburn police blotter

Auburn Police responded to the following calls for service, among many others, between May 3 and May 8:

May 4

Commercial burglary: Overnight, 201 A St. SW. Burglars hit an unspecified business, doing damage to the business in the process.

Misdemeanor: 3:44 p.m., 20 Auburn Way S. A stolen firearm turned up at a local pawn shop.

May 5

Theft of vehicle parts: 5:50 a.m., 5141 Auburn Way N. Someone stole a catalytic converter.

May 6

Fugitive from justice: 5 p.m., 202 S. Division St. Police arrested a woman because she was a fugitive from justice back in Iowa with a warrant out for her arrest.

May 7

Vehicle theft: 8:18 a.m., 5110 Frontage Road. The owner of a trailer stolen between April 23 and April 28 reported it to police.

Property theft: 2:06 p.m., 1101 Outlet Collection Way SW. Somebody swiped someone else’s wallet.

Theft from motor vehicle: 4 p.m., 1101 Outlet Collection Drive SW. A person or persons broke into four vehicles and vandalized them in the process.

Trespassing: 4:58 p.m., 32200 block of 50th Court South. A man got the boot and a “don’t you come back” to a garage where he was, but had no right to be.

Shoplifting: 8:11 p.m., 1406 Lake Tapps Parkway SE. Police busted a guy for shoplifting.

May 8

Assault: 1:40 a.m., 300 block of 15th Street Southeast. Police busted a woman for domestic violence assault following an unspecified incident.
