June 9

Theft: Overnight, 30600 block of 128th Place Southeast. Somebody stole a man’s credit card and used it to buy undisclosed services over the Internet, even though the man still has in his possession the very same credit card.

Burglary: Overnight, 4300 block of Auburn Way North. A burglar snuck into a fenced area at an undisclosed business and stole a yellow Suzuki DRZ 125 LK motorcycle. Police did not disclose a value for the missing bike.

Forgery: 3:51 p.m., 18 Auburn Way N. Police arrested a woman for trying to cash two $985 fraudulent money grams at Bank of America.

Shoplifting: 5:35 p.m., 308 W. Main St. A video camera caught somebody taking a generator and other unspecified items from an unnamed store that turned out to be Ace/Agrishop.

Theft from motor vehicle: 2:30 p.m., 1200 block of Supermall Way Southwest. An Auburn resident reported that while he or she was at a local undisclosed gym, somebody entered his or her vehicle and stole unspecified items.

June 10

Burglary: Overnight, 4000 block of Auburn Way N. (4002) Suspects unknown broke into an undisclosed auto sales business and stole electronics and vehicles. Police later recovered one of the vehicles.

Too much to drink?: 2:07 p.m., 200 Auburn Way S. Police arrested a woman for driving under the influence of alcohol after a collision. The woman refused a breath sample test but provided a portable breath test of .38, nearly five times the legal limit. Indeed, .35–.40 represents potentially fatal alcohol poisoning, just shy of the range that begins to be lethal for 50 percent of adult humans.

Theft: 12:38 p.m., 3400 block of Olympic Street Southeast. Somebody pawned a PS3 game system for the fourth time with or without the owner’s permission.

Bad smokes: 5:30 p.m., 12700 block of Southeast 312th Street. Police arrested a male and female after catching them smoking illegal narcotics in a parking lot.

Vandalism: 9:50 a.m., 600 block of 23rd Street Southeast. According to a homeowner, an unknown person rammed a bike into his or her garage door, imprinting small dents and scuff marks on said door and leaving the bike behind. The bike was not reported stolen, it was taken by a neighbor who thought he or she knew who owned it.

Shoplifting: 1:45 p.m., 1101 Supermall Way S.W. Unknownsuspects cut a cell phone from the display counter inside T-Mobile at the SuperMall and took it.
