King County Medic One paramedics transported a woman in her mid-30’s to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle with serious injuries Friday morning after she crashed her motorcycle into a jersey barrier on the on-ramp to eastbound Highway 18 near Auburn Way South.

The woman was riding with a group, and her riding partner called 911 at 8:48 a.m. to report the collision. Firefighters from the Valley Regional Fire Authority found the woman pinned between her motorcycle and the jersey barrier. Firefighters freed her from the wreckage and stabilized her for transport. She was wearing a helmet at the time of the collision. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
