The Auburn Valley YMCA is hosting a veterans “thank you” potluck Wednesday from 12:30 to 2 p.m. The YMCA is located at 620 Perimeter Road SW.

The ALOHA (Active Lives for Older Healthy Adults) group is sponsoring the event for YMCA members who are veterans.

Mayor Pete Lewis is scheduled to give opening comments. The program will include the singing of the National Anthem and other patriotic songs.

An estimated 75 people are expected to attend.
