Alice “Gail” Holt

Alice “Gail” Holt, 77, of Auburn, WA passed away on May 1, 2015 following a long illness.

Born on September 4, 1937 in Tacoma to Alice Viola and Arthur Copp Wright. Gail graduated from Enumclaw High School, class of 1955.

She met and married her loving husband, Ronald Holt, on June 14, 1957, moving to Auburn in 1962. They owned A.C. Wright and Sons Painting Contractors in Auburn for 33 years in partnership with her brother Gene & Arlene Wright.

Gail was a wonderful homemaker who raised their four children with an abundance of unconditional love and support. She loved to cook, enjoyed reading and playing card games.

She leaves behind her beloved husband of 57 years, Ronald G. Holt; daughters Laurie (Tom) Marino, Karen (Michael) Harbin, Connie (Steve) Williams and son Ron (Michelle) Holt. She also leaves behind grandsons Brent (Alison) Marino, Marcus Marino and Christofer Holt and great grandchildren Liam, Henley and Luca.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Gene Wright. She is also survived by her brother William (Marcie) Wright, sisters in law Arlene Wright and Carol (Bob) Bernsten. She is survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins who will dearly miss her also.

Memorial service will be held at Auburn First United Methodist Church, 100 N St SE Auburn, WA 98002, on Friday, May 15th at 1:00 pm. Contributions in her memory may be made to the American Heart Association.
