Angela Rose Van Wyk
Angela Rose Van Wyk, 45, of Auburn passed away May 25th succumbing to a long battle with type 1 diabetes. She was born to Howard and Cecilia Hitch on Valentines Day, 1964 in Seattle, WA. Growing up in Burien she attended St. Bernadette Parish then John F. Kennedy Memorial High School. She went on to work as a salad cook, home health care aid, and did volunteer work for the Auburn Regional Hospital. Joys in her life over the years were her cats, basset hounds, camping trips, holidays, and so much more. She was preceded in death by her mother, but survived by her father, her loving husband of 14 years, Michael, and her three brothers; Larry, Mike, and Jeff. A memorial service will be held 3:00 PM, Saturday, June 13th, at Normandy Park Congregational Church, 19247 1st Ave S, Normandy Park, WA.In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Northwest Kidney Centers Foundation.
