Audrey Kraupa

Audrey Kraupa, 95, a long time resident of Tenino, WA, passed away on September 12, 2008. She was born on May 16, 1913 to Blanche and James White in Enumclaw, WA. She spent most of her childhood in Enumclaw graduating from Enumclaw High School June, 1931.Audrey married Frank Kraupa on September 19, 1931; they dairy farmed in Enumclaw and Auburn relocating in 1962 to Tenino where they farmed till Frank retired in 1968. Audrey continued to be a homemaker and also was active in her community as a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Tenino, Eastern Star, Garden Club and Study Club. She loved to spend time with her family, garden, cook, crochet, travel and read romance novels. Audrey was preceded in death by her husband Frank, son Larry; brother, Ed; grandchildren, Valerie and Scott. She is survived by 2 sons, Don (Pearl), Jim (Sharon); 7 grandchildren; 16 great-grand-children; 4 great-great grandchildren; 1 sister, Marjorie Scott; numerous nieces and nephews. Viewing will be September 23, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.at Mills & Mills Funeral Home, 5725 Littlerock Road SW, Tumwater, WA 98512. Grave-side services, for family and close friends, will be held on September 24, 2008, 10:00 a.m. at Enumclaw Ever-green Cemetery, 23717 SE 416th St, Enumclaw, WA 98022.A memorial service will be held at The First Presbyterian Church, 196 Central Avenue East, Tenino, WA, September 24 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family suggests a contribution to Children’s Orthopedic Foundation, P.O. Box 50020, Seattle, WA 98145.
