Barbara Vance passed away peacefully, brave and strong on January 23, 2017 in Poulsbo, WA. Barbara was born to Clayton and Muriel White (Harry) in Omak, WA. on October 15, 1942.

She was committed to serving her community. As a long time, active member of Kiwanis Auburn, Barbara held positions as Club Treasurer, Secretary, President and Division Lt Governor. She knew the importance of mentoring young Kiwanians through Key Leader, and enjoyed serving as Board Treasurer and Secretary of the Auburn Food Bank, along side her dear friend, for many years.

She loved being on the water, was an avid reader and a movie buff, loved arts and crafts and was the Seahawks #1 fan.

Barbara is survived by her daughters Michele (Georg) Syvertsen of Bainbridge Island, Venessa (Tom) Baker of Silverdale, son Ryan (Brenda) Vance of Maple Valley, and her brother Jon White of Mt. Lake Terrace.

A memorial service will be held at the Auburn Golf Course on February 4, 2017 at 3:00pm. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Auburn Food Bank.
