Bernice White

Concluded her battle with lung cancer and heart disease. She passed away peacefully at the home of her daughter, Patti Allen-Lehman. She was the first African American Registered Nurse in the greater Seattle area. For the past twenty-one years, she was a staff member, and volunteer at the Auburn Senior Center. She was an avid Mariner baseball fan, however, her work and friendships at the center were the highlight of her life. Memorial services to be held 3 pm, August 9th, at the Auburn Senior Center 808-9th Street S.E. Auburn 98002. In lieu of flowers, Bernice requested donations be sent to Auburn Senior Center.
