BLAIN MACK
Owner of Mack’s Contracting passed away August 22, 2008 af-ter his battle with cancer and pneumonia. Born March 19, 1938 Grandview Manitoba Canada. In 1965 he moved to California then to Vancouver Island and came to settle in the Seattle area to seek employment in the metal trade industries, he worked at several plat-ing shops learning the trade and became a journeyman millwright, at the same time he owned small engine and auto repair shops. Af-ter retiring and moving back to Auburn he started the mobile home contracting business, which he continued until his health would no longer permit.He loved golf, fishing, hunting, playing his guitar and violin, and helping others. He will be greatly missed by all. He also was a sober member of AA.He is survived by his wife Ardith, daughters Careen Snow (Dan), Connie Mack-Dewdney (Kari), stepsons Arnold (Karen) Allen (Sherril) Roger (Susan) Bartels. Thirteen grandchildren, 3 great-grandsons, one being born 4 days after Blain passed, one great-grand-daughter whom was born on his 70th birthday. Three sisters Alice, Eva, Margaret, one brother Walter. Many nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his stepdaughter Ronda, parents Emma & Arthur and four brothers, Murney, Douglas, Wesley and Johnny.Memorial service will be held September 12 1-3:00 p.m. at The Rivers Mobile Park Clubhouse, 3611 I St. NE Auburn.
