Blanche (Peterson) Bunker of Auburn, WA passed away peacefully in her sleep on September 30, 2019 in Puyallup, WA. She was born on December 28, 1932 in Madison, MN, the only child of Benjimin and Charlotte Peterson, where she lived until 1955. Blanche was married on June 9, 1956 to Jerome Bunker, up until his death on September 13, 2015.
Blanche lived in Auburn, WA for nearly six decades, and was an active member at Holy Family Church during that time. Her joy was raising her six children, and being a part of the larger Catholic community. She was a long-time member of the Saint Catherine’s Circle at Holy Family.
She is survived by her children Carla (Greg); Brian (Trudi); Mark, Scott (Karen) and Todd (Angie) along with 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at Holy Family Church in Auburn on Friday, October 11 at 11:00 am. Donations in Blanche’s memory can be made to Nexus Youth and Families in Auburn. Her ashes will be laid to rest in a private ceremony next to the love of her life Jerome at the Tahoma Cemetery in Covington, WA.
