Brenda M. Jones

Brenda M. Jones, age 51 of Auburn, died on August 27, 2016, at the UW Medical Center of complications from Diabetes. Brenda was born on August 29, 1964 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to James and Nancy Long.

Brenda graduated in 1982 from Auburn High School. She earned two Associate of Applied Science degrees from Highline Community College; one in Paralegal Studies and one as Information Systems Project Coordinator. Brenda lived most of her life in the Auburn area and worked for The Boeing Company for 20 years.

Brenda is survived by her daughter, Erica (Josh) Miller, her grandson, Ronin, her parents, her sister Deanna Long (Daneen Calvin), and nephews Shaymas and Jasper. Brenda was preceded in death by all of her grandparents.

Brenda loved her family, spending time with her grandson, scrapbooking, weekend trips with her girlfriends, her dog Baylee and her special friend, Bryan Haworth.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 24th at 2:00pm at New Hope Presbyterian Church; 19800 – 108th Avenue, SE; Kent, WA.

The family requests donations to the American Diabetes Association in Brenda’s name in lieu of flowers.
